In April 2024, I will be running the London Marathon in memory of a close family friend, Harry Williams. Harry was my younger brother Georgie’s best friend who sadly passed away, aged 8, in February 2015, after contracting Meningitis.
For those who know me, you will know how much of a challenge this will be, I am not one to enjoy sports- especially not running! However, I am incredibly proud to continue my journey to raise money for Meningitis Now, a charity Harry’s family and friends have spent the last 8 years fundraising for.
Meningitis Now has played a critical role in the introduction of five life saving vaccines, spread symptom awareness and provide support to families affected by meningitis.
